How do i convince my parents to let me visit my boyfriend of one year?

I'm 17 and, as the title states, i have been dating my boyfriend for a year now. He invited me to visit him in Chicago. His parents would be there the whole time and i hear Chicago is a great city. I need help convincing them to let me go.
