What would you do if you were never really gonna see the man you love again?

Okay so lets say there was this guy, and you both love each other more than u've ever loved anyone else (basically soulmates) and you know that you guys are suppossed to be together but you could never get together because of the big age difference (10-11 years, so you knew you would have to wait to date him till you turn 18) and you move away, what would you do? try to connect with him when you get older? See this happened to me, i moved away from the guy i love and he told me to text him daily but i dont wana seem desperate, we both know we love each other but we havent really gotten it in the air yet (shy with feelings bc of age difference) i just need some advice on what to do because its killing me being away from him and my parents dont know we love each other so they dont understand why im so upset all the time! Have you ever been away from someone you loved? how did you deal? because i miss him too much! Thanks! and please dont say i shouldnt be loving a guy whos that much older than me! because love happens and its hard to control
