Besides NYC and Chicago, what US cities have fantastic public transportation?

I moved to the city last year, and love not having to own a car. However I will be leaving Chicago in a few months and NYC is not even an option, no thank you. Anyone know of any other good options? Preferably ones that dont get crazy cold and snowy in the winter.
