How Common is it to ACTUALLY Find your Soulmate?

I want to believe in the whole idea of a "soulmate" but I think the idea of it can be dangerous. This often encourages people to hyperfocus on one individual to the exclusion of others that can be a much better fit, or keep holding onto a former relationship or even a crush when nothing is happening. I think it's more probable that your parents and grandparents worked to be compatible in their relationships. There's no such thing as "being soul mates"...it's more that two people have some stuff in common and are both committed to making it work between them. In the end, what it basically means is love is a choice, and both partners have to choose to love one another.
